Leave No Trace Service Project on 9/21/2014:
The Atomic Tacos are extending an invitation to the entire pack to come join us
Sunday, September 21st at 2:00pm at the Dutchess County Rail Trail's Memorial Mile for a
Leave No Trace service project.
We're going to ask everyone to meet at the Diddell Road Parking lot
and we'll walk together to the Veteran's Memorial. Along the way we will pick
up any trash that we find.
The scouts should be in Class B's so the folks along the rail trail know who we are!
Bring water, gloves, trash bags and maybe one or two small
rakes/shovels to clean up the Veteran's Memorial.
This has proven to be a fun event for the scouts in the past so please join us if you can!
Thank you from your Atomic Taco Leaders
Ron and John

Trees for Tribes Conservation Project.
Sunday June 1st at 1pm.
Location is at the Robinson Lane Recreation Fields,
all the way back near sprout creek.
We are planting 300 trees and shrubs along the stream. These plants will
help reduce the flooding of the athletic fields, and help stabilize the
shoreline. NYSDEC will be digging the holes for us, we just have to put
the plants in the holes and backfill them with soil.
We need to bring shovels, rakes, and gloves for the boys. It will take a
couple of hours depending on the turn out.
